Shoulder Pain When Throwing A Softball What Could It Be?
I threw my arm out when I was about 16. Ever since I have a pain on the top of my shoulder when I throw hard. I get fully warmed up, but when I go about 75% or more it hurts. No pain up till a hard throw, is this something that needs surgery to ever get better?

Pitchers: What Is The Difference Between Shoulder Pain And Elbow Pain After Throwing?
I have never gotten any shoulder pain in my life from throwing a baseball, but I get sore in my elbow from throwing hard for a while all the time.
Are my mechanics just a little different than most people, or is it somethig elese? I throw pretty hard (mid 80s) so I put a lot of stress on my arm while throwing, but my teammates alwasy complain about their shoulders and I never have the same problem.
