I Have A Painful Gland In The Back Of My Neck, Stiffness When I Turn My Head And Corresponding Shoulder Pain?
The gland is on the right side of my neck, I often have sinus and ear infections, I have recently developed the stiffness when I turn my neck, although the pain and stiffness are not constant. Often, particularly when I wake up I have pain in the corresponding shoulder blade in one particular place. I did have a preexisting shoulder injury, but I don’t know if this is related. Any advice?

Is A Totally Torn Rotator Cuff Less Painful?
Pain is a relative factor. Some people are able to withstand significant amounts and others hardly any. So is a totally torn rotator cuff any more or less painful? To some the tearing of the entire cuff is less painful. A partially torn one can cause more pain as it may continuously be suffering micro tears.
