Recovery Expectations For Rotator Cuff Surgery?
Please no cut and paste from search engines, I’m looking to hear from people who have actually had the surgery.
I have a bone spur, torn rotator cuff and torn tendon. I know it’s 6-8 weeks general recovery time, but what are the week-to-week things I can expect after surgery (ie., horrible pain for x-days, improved pain for x-days, can begin to move after x-days.) I want to return to work as soon as possible. How realistic is that? I’m a wreck about what I’m reading about pain expectations, especially after reading some responses to a similar question. http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index;…
I also get very VERY sick with general anesthesia and pain killers (Zofrain works sometimes). Thanks in advance to those who would recommend alternate treatments, but no thank you. Believe me I tried. I have to have it done. I’ve exhausted all other options and it’s almost three years now.
Thanks for your input.
