Has Anybody Had Rotator Cuff Repair And How Much Rehab Is There?

Yes I had arthroscopic surgery to mine and they removed a bone spur. I had to go to physical therapy 3 times a week for 1 month. But it could be sooner for you depending on how well you respond to your doctors treatment and the exercises needed for rehab. and strengthening. So I would estimate 4-6 weeks.

Does Anyone Know If There Are Tube Top Bras For Those Who Are “well Endowed” After Rotator Cuff Surgery?

I have a relative who is going to have rotator cuff surgery. After surgery she will need to have bra support but because she is amply endowed, cannot use a regular bra, since this too contributed to the bone spur which helped bring on the tear.
Has anyone had something similar? Also does anyone know of a “tube top like bra” that could give someone like her with 38G (yes, that’s her size). Please no rude, lewd or insensitive comments, this would be completely unnecessary and inappropriate. Thanks for understanding:)

Recovery Expectations For Rotator Cuff Surgery?

Please no cut and paste from search engines, I’m looking to hear from people who have actually had the surgery.
I have a bone spur, torn rotator cuff and torn tendon. I know it’s 6-8 weeks general recovery time, but what are the week-to-week things I can expect after surgery (ie., horrible pain for x-days, improved pain for x-days, can begin to move after x-days.) I want to return to work as soon as possible. How realistic is that? I’m a wreck about what I’m reading about pain expectations, especially after reading some responses to a similar question. http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index;…
I also get very VERY sick with general anesthesia and pain killers (Zofrain works sometimes). Thanks in advance to those who would recommend alternate treatments, but no thank you. Believe me I tried. I have to have it done. I’ve exhausted all other options and it’s almost three years now.
Thanks for your input.

Rotator Cuff Tendon Tear…what Would You Do?

I just recently found out that I was born w/ bone spurs (hooks) on each of my shoulders which has caused my right rotator cuff tendon to tear completely in 1/2 which means I need surgery to cut the bone spur off & to screw the tendons back 2gether. My left rotator cuff will tear soon if I dont get the bone spur cut off but also has an inflamed bursa sac that needs to be removed as well. Finances are only allowing me to do 1 shoulder this year and the other next yr. Which shoulder would U get fixed first? I want to get the right one fixed first since its torn, but turns out it has possibly been torn for over a yr already and I just didnt know it. Or would you get the left one fixed first BEFORE it tears?
**I guess I just dont know what other problems I could have from living with a completely torn rotator cuff tendon? Does it cause more problems if you prolong getting it fixed? I know this is a doc question but thought I could get some insight from all of U first.
