When I Do Bench Press My Rotator Cuffs Kill?

its not the actual muscle that hurts but I’m almost positive that its my rotator cuff. i don’t know why but every time i do bench press it hurts and i cant finish. i do arm circles before to loosen everything up and push ups but then when i do it, it kills. i don’t know if its because of the rapid increase in weight because i started taking creatine or what but i need help.

What Workouts Can I Do With A Rotator Cuff Injury Besides Curls, Pushdowns, And Squats?

yeah, so my question above is pretty much it. I injured my rotator cuff a little over a month ago. I didn’t see the doctor until four weeks ago, and he told me to lay off the weights, problem is I love working out. I have listened to him for the most part. I’m no longer benching, dipping, power cleaning, shrugging…well you get the point, the real meat and potatos of my program, probably any program. My bench press has decreased (I’ve only benched once to figure this out, hence I’ve listened to him for the most part) I’m feeling real bad, and I want to do more If I can. I’m set up for physical therapy, but still. I want to do more, and Weight Training is required for me, it’s a class I have to take. Any help is welcome. 7hanks!

How Do I Heal My Shoulder Or Rotator Cuff?

I have had a weak or sore shoulder or rotator cuff i don’t know which one but i’ve had it before and it would hurt when i would bench press and throw punches(right shoulder). I started a week ago doing tricep dips on my chair at home. Then i went to the gym yesterday and i was benching and i stopped after the first set cause my right shoulder started hurting. How do i heal this? My dad says aspirin and to put this cold thing on my shoulder. Give me some more advice such as stretches or something cause i really want to get my bench up.

How Do I Rehab A Rotator Cuff Injury?

I was doing bench press with 65 lb dumbells and when I dropped my right one i dinged my shoulder…didn’t think much about it but after a few weeks it’s apparent I may have done something to the rotator cuff. That’s what my trainer thinks and I concur. It only hurts on bench press moves when i have my elbows away from my body…and then as the coup de grace I threw a football yesterday and Wowzaa it hurt. What should I do? I’m still working out and staying pain free as long as I don’t do the bench press with elbow extended away from doy. I can do pullups, dips, overhead presses fine…do I need to go see the orthopedist?

How Does A Strained Rotator Cuff Lead To Bursitis?

I hurt my supraspinatus in both arms around january this year. At first when i woke up i was in so much pain i was scared to bench press 45 lbs….
Anyways it recovered a fair bit since then but it doesnt feel perfect yet. Ive regained the strength but not the fatigue resistance. However the front of my shoulder hurts like a ***** with almost every arm motion i could do. I was told by some people i knew that it is bursitis. Ive studied anatomy before so it does make sense to me. The friction at the shoulder is increased with bursitis so that explains my pain
My question though is why do you get bursitis from a rotator cuff injury if they are in different parts of the shoulder and have different purposes? Sry if i wrote too much :D
