My sports injuray physio strapped smy shoulder for this injury. She got me to sit with my arm close to body and elbow at right angle and suported it on a raised bed so the weight came off the sholder. She then applied a white strong sticky base gauze over the shouder and down ech side for about 8 inches, them double up with adhesive plaster tape strips. It felt great and my wife copied strapping for 3 more times – each lasting 3 days. Shoulder pain is gone – my 74 year old mother had same result
Are these straps similar to those our beach volleyball gals were wearing? I’m told I have a full thickness tear of the supraspinatus.
